Mrs. B Tsinyane (Corporate Services Manager)

The department is the execution of Council resolutions relating to corporate services. The Municipal Structures Act, 1998 identifies three primary areas that fall under the auspices of the corporate services.

Strategic Goal:
To ensure continuous implementation of the municipal vision and mission through the Human Resource Management Plan, effective and efficient administration through systems that are aligned to the organization and by providing a secure ICT Infrastructure which delivers appropriate level of data confidentiality, integrity and availability and to strengthen communication with internal and external stakeholders by providing accurate; timeous and complete information about municipal policies and programmes.

The department is responsible for Council Administration and Auxillary Services, Human Resources, Records Management, Information Technology and Legal Services. In addition to oversight of the central administrative functions of the Municipality, the role of the Corporate Services Department will also be to provide secretarial services and guidance to Council and other governance structures of the Municipality, and safe guarding the interests of the municipal stakeholders (communities and staff). This is the administrative nerve center that sends pulses throughout the Municipality and therefore, the office needs to be capacitated to realize its mandates in support of the Municipal Manager.
